Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient observations and treatment outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care management
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Assist in emergency response situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
