Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse clinical settings including emergency, ICU, and outpatient departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician protocols with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, infection control standards, and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS/NRP preferred
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC experience a plus)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize critical cases
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competence in diverse populations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
