Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in specialized units (ER, ICU, Oncology)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans with medical teams
- Educate patients and families on health management protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO and Florida Board of Nursing standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- 2+ years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Spanish language proficiency highly valued
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
