Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress; promptly report changes to physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control procedures
- Utilize EHR systems for comprehensive documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Florida RN license (or compact state license)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or clinical nursing experience
- BLS certification with willingness to obtain ACLS/PALS if required
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
