Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings including med-surg, telemetry, and post-operative units
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems with meticulous attention to detail
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and evidence-based practice standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety committees
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with Arizona residency)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in relevant specialty
- ACLS/BLS certification with current renewal dates
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic EMR preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative team dynamics
- Flexibility to cover various shifts including evenings and holidays
