Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to clinical leadership
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year acute care or specialty nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certification (required, PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 24-32 hours per week with flexible scheduling
