Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings
- Administer medications & treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals & document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients & families on health management
- Adhere to JCAHO & OSHA compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking & communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 24-32 hours/week (flexible shifts)
- Pass background check & drug screening
