Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns promptly.
- Respond to medical emergencies with promptness and professionalism.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient advocacy and ethical nursing practices.
