Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and ancillary staff.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of California.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
