Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with facility policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in rounds and case conferences as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent nursing experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- BLS certification required; other certifications may be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
