Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on assessment, medication administration, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition with timely interventions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, hospital policies, and nursing standards of practice
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous process enhancement
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license in good standing
- Associates or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred for ER/ICU roles)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
