Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute and progressive care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with care team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- ACLS certification preferred (required within 90 days)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Proficiency in EHR documentation systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
