Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain precise and thorough electronic health records (EHR) of patient status and care.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying changes in condition and reporting critical findings promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in unit meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be able to commit to flexible part-time hours, including some evenings or weekends.
