Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
- Assess patient health status, interpret clinical data, and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical information with meticulous attention to detail.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing life-saving interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal nursing regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an acute care or clinic setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Proficient in EMR/EHR systems and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
