Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Assist in emergency response situations and critical care interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN license (required)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (must maintain)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Electronic health records proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates considered)
