Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency, critical care, or specialty units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Provide patient/family education on treatment and recovery
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates considered)
- 2+ years recent clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 24-32 hours per week with flexible availability
