Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone triage assessments using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice to patients across diverse demographics
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for urgent case escalation
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care services
- Educate callers on appropriate care pathways and home management
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- TAS/BLS certification with current credentials
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 3-4 shifts (12-hour) per week
- Spanish bilingual preferred
