Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and determine medical urgency using established protocols
- Provide accurate triage advice and coordinate care with physicians and specialists
- Maintain detailed electronic health records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and follow-up procedures
- Handle high-volume call centers during peak hours with poise and efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency department experience
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Spanish bilingual certification a plus
