Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments using clinical protocols
- Prioritize patient cases based on urgency and acuity levels
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding home care or facility visits
- Document all interactions accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and care team for complex cases
- Monitor patient flow and optimize department efficiency
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR documentation systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
