Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and in-person patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Accurately prioritize patient cases based on acuity levels and clinical urgency
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance to patients regarding care pathways and next steps
- Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, specialists, and care coordinators
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Implement infection control and safety protocols in all interactions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proven expertise in emergency/urgent care triage methodologies
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
