Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via phone or secure messaging to determine medical urgency.
- Document patient symptoms, medical history, and triage outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide appropriate medical advice, instructions, and referrals based on established protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure continuity of patient care and follow-up.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Stay updated on current clinical guidelines and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a triage or urgent care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
