Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records
- Operate pharmacy computer systems and automated dispensing equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Prepare sterile compounds and assist with medication compounding
Qualifications
- Current Kansas Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior pharmacy experience preferred but not required for motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn pharmacy software
