Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records
- Provide excellent customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software efficiently
- Adhere to all federal, state, and pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification in Wisconsin (PhT)
- Minimum 1 year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, HIPAA compliance, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
