Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient counseling
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality protocols
- Operate pharmacy automation technology (e.g., robotic dispensers)
- Assist with vaccination administration and clinical services
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license
- Prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
