Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, prepare, and dispense prescription medications to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist the Pharmacist with clinical tasks and medication therapy management.
- Manage inventory levels, including stocking shelves and processing returns.
- Communicate with patients regarding prescription questions and insurance coverage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy environment.
- Process insurance claims and handle patient billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or state license where required).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and computer systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
