Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain precise patient records and prescription documentation
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and supply chain operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA, DEA, and Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy management software and automated dispensing systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- PTCB certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
