Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, prepare, and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and prescription details to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage inventory levels, including stocking shelves and processing orders.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide outstanding service.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software (e.g., McKesson, Cerner).
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
