Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceutical supplies with provided tracking software
- Assist pharmacists in compounding and preparing specialized medications
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records using provided EMR systems
- Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to HIPAA compliance protocols
- Perform quality control checks using provided testing equipment
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience with equipment operation
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT preferred
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with provided equipment assistance
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
