Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control with provided automated dispensing systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records using provided software
- Perform quality assurance checks on compounded medications
- Assist with vaccination administration and patient consultations
- Maintain sterile compounding environments using provided equipment
- Train new technicians on provided pharmacy technology systems
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license or eligible for immediate certification
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience with equipment operation proficiency
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medication safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to operate automated dispensing and inventory management systems
- Basic math skills for prescription calculations
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a professional setting
- Valid Oregon driver's license (for occasional deliveries)
