Responsibilities
- Verify and prepare prescriptions for dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including checking stock and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and DEA guidelines.
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment to ensure safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software systems.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
