Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of prescription information, including dosage and patient history.
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and resolving issues.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical products.
- Assist pharmacists in compounding medications and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or NHA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Arizona pharmacy technician license.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software.
