Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing
- Counsel patients on medication usage and OTC products
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all patient records
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV medications
- Operate pharmacy software (Omni/NextGen experience preferred)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for refill approvals
Qualifications
- Active PTCB or ExCPT certification (required)
- Nevada Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- 1+ years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of drug interactions and pharmaceutical math
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Proficient in computer systems and pharmacy technology
