Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information
- Maintain precise medication records and documentation
- Assist with compounding sterile/non-sterile preparations
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient counseling
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Wisconsin state pharmacy technician license
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software
