We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our high-volume pharmacy. In this role, you will work directly with pharmacists to ensure patients receive the correct medications and understand their usage.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications according to legal and safety standards.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate dosages before dispensing.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and retrieving pharmaceutical products.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Process insurance claims and handle copayments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
- Assist the pharmacist in compounding medications when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or willingness to obtain).
- State Pharmacy Technician license required for Texas.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy management software.
- CPR certification is a plus.
