Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify prescription information for accuracy, completeness, and safety checks.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and organization of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
