Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy.
- Assist the Pharmacist with medication dispensing and quality control processes.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering pharmaceutical supplies and maintaining stock.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding prescriptions and health products.
- Perform sterile compounding duties in strict accordance with state regulations and safety protocols.
- Process returns, refunds, and handle cash transactions with precision.
Qualifications
- Current and valid PTCB or ExCPT certification.
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems.
