Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately following all state and federal regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments and performing cycle counts.
- Assist pharmacists in medication counseling and answering patient inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and dosage forms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
