Responsibilities
- Verify and process prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and package medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist patients with medication inquiries and provide basic pharmaceutical care.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and state pharmacy laws.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.
- Current Arizona Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
