Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records using pharmacy software
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Assist in sterile compounding and IV preparation (training provided)
- Participate in continuing education and certification exam preparation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy systems
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be able to attend all training sessions (weekdays, 9am-5pm)
