Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately according to state regulations and doctor's orders.
- Assist pharmacists in providing optimal patient care and counseling regarding medication usage.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies to prevent stockouts.
- Verify insurance information and process billing transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and adheres to safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
