Responsibilities
- Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to state and federal laws.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure billing compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage supply orders to prevent stock shortages.
- Assist the supervising pharmacist with medication preparation, compounding, and sterile compounding.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns regarding medications and insurance.
- Perform routine quality control checks on medications and equipment.
- Document patient profiles and medication histories accurately in the pharmacy management system.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered PTCB or ExCPT certification.
- Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician License.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with pharmacy software (e.g., Epic, McKesson) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
