Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and prescription details for accuracy, safety, and compliance.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and processing returns.
- Assist customers with prescription inquiries, insurance questions, and medication counseling.
- Operate pharmacy dispensing software and cash register systems efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy management systems (e.g., Rx30, Epic).
