Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections following strict safety protocols
- Process, label, and transport specimens accurately to the laboratory
- Maintain precise patient records and documentation in EMR systems
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages during procedures
- Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient workflows
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in specimen processing and handling
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid Oregon driver's license (if required for mobile services)
