Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures
- Process and label specimens following HIPAA protocols
- Operate and maintain provided phlebotomy equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and procedural accuracy
- Document all procedures in electronic health records
- Collaborate with lab staff for specimen processing
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Excellent venipuncture technique
- Strong patient communication skills
