Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections using provided equipment
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA protocols
- Maintain sterile workstations and dispose of biohazard materials safely
- Verify patient identification and prepare samples for laboratory analysis
- Operate digital specimen tracking systems (training provided)
- Document procedures using EMR systems with full equipment support
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in blood collection
