Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections
- Process and label specimens accurately
- Maintain sterile equipment and supplies
- Document patient information in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Provide patient comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with lab staff for specimen transport
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or AMT)
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Valid Texas phlebotomy license
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours (15-30 hrs/week)
- Basic computer proficiency
