Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and minimal patient discomfort
- Process, label, and transport specimens following strict laboratory protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation systems
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and strict adherence to safety procedures
- Provide exceptional patient communication during specimen collection
- Collaborate with clinical team to optimize patient flow and efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills and bedside manner
- Strong attention to detail and specimen handling accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
