Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws with precision while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
- Greet patients, explain procedures clearly, and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and test results.
- Adhere to strict OSHA and CLIA safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain and sterilize phlebotomy equipment and manage office supplies efficiently.
- Collaborate with nurses and medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow.
Qualifications
- Current NHA (NCPT) or ASCP certification required.
- Valid New Jersey State Phlebotomy License.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
