Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection with precision
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and processing of specimens
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with lab and clinical teams for seamless workflow
- Train new staff on phlebotomy procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Phlebotomy Technician certification (required)
- 1+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience preferred
- Excellent venipuncture skills with minimal puncture attempts
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Background check and drug screen clearance
