Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical environments for procedures using advanced equipment
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorative and surgical procedures
- Maintain sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with precision
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or license in Nebraska
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments
